After several years of online meetings, the International Association of Autoethnography and Narrative Inquiry (IAANI) will host an in-person Forum on autoethnography. • Telling Autoethnographic Stories in Organizations
  • Work-in-Progress Group Sessions and Lunch

  • Writing through/Living through Illness, Loss, and Trauma
  • Autoethnography in/of The Academy

Only one session will occur at a time, and each session will feature in-depth conversations about the specified topics.

Several folks will facilitate the conversations at these sessions: Art Bochner, Carolyn Ellis, Mark Freeman, Ken Gergen, Carol Rambo, Christina Ivey, Cody Clemens, Mike Alvarez, Tasha Dunn, Marlen Harrison, Benjamin Myers, Csaba Osvath, Jillian Tullis, Pat Sikes, Tony Adams, Keith Berry, Himanee Gupta, Chris Omni, Lisa Spinazola, Patricia Geist Martin, Christine Kiesinger, Andrew Herrmann, Bryant Alexander, Eric Eisenberg, Ron Pelias, Lesa Lockford, Kitrina Douglas, Chris Poulos, Pat Sikes, Lisa Tillmann, Marcin Kafar, Sandra Faulkner, and Kakali Bhattacharya.

All are welcome to attend the Forum, though attendance is limited and everyone must register for the event. You can register below. Early registration (now until November 1, 2023) will cost $200 for full-time faculty and professionals, and $100 for students, part-time faculty, guests, and independent scholars. After November 1, registration will increase to $250 and $150 respectively. Given that registration fees will be used to pay for space rental and some food and beverages, they are not refundable after November 15, 2023. ALL registrants will be listed as “participants” in the final program.
